No. They live in an area with other paranoid gun nuts. But they are law abiding people. That's why there is less crime.

Because the areas with many paranoid gun nut white southerners are low crime areas. You can't seem to get this through your head and instead mindlessly repeat propaganda.

Maybe it is time to ask why cities with high gun ownership rates are low crime areas. Being low crime doesn't just magically occur... there is a reason. The reason being that high gun ownership rates by law abiding citizens scares away criminals.
Not necessarily. There are any number of different variables at play that distinguish those areas, apart from gun ownership rates. You're just waterboarding selective stats to concur with a version of "reality" that you favor.
