No offense guy, but it was likely your self assured, arrogant attitude... It came off a little in your posts too. Be careful that doesnât work into your awesome trading.
When you make money it's exciting, you feel great and want to talk about it, no doubt... But most people don't want to hear it. Most don't necessarily wish failure on you, but they will start to feel inadequate about themselves for missing out. Then, god forbid, theyâll jump into trading, not prepare / overextend and fail. Then they'll feel even worse and resent you, for doing something they canât and forcing them to lose money.
People ask me how Iâm doing, regardless of reality + / -, I give them a: âMeh, not too bad.â. Keep it nonchalant, maybe hint and the pessimistic and then move on to something mutual like âDollar sure is a piece of sh!t, huh?â.
Accomplishes the following:
1.Makes them feel good about themselves and their career.
2.I donât feel pressured to offer [dangerous] trading advice.
3.We get to keep being friends.
