And lets compare the rates of Covid cases, hospitalizations and deaths in Australia with the U.S. Noting that Australia has had many less days of lockdown than the U.S. and they have pretty much been living freely throughout the worldwide Covid crisis without restrictions, concerts occurring, dining open, etc.
Australia has almost the same population as Texas.
Texas 4.39 million cases 74,948 deaths
Australia 174,000 cases 1,800 deaths
Straight facts.
Seems Australia doing better relatively than Texas
I am sure 73,000 people in Texas would agree.
Come on, dude. You're passing judgment purely on COVID stats.
It's not a simple equation.
What about comparing economic output? Livelihood? Businesses? Freedoms? School children? Mental illness?
This is like the 5th time I've had to point this out. If all we needed to do was judge our results on the amount of people who died from COVID, this would be easy. Lock everyone in their own personal closet and never let them out. Simple. No deaths!
But there's so much more to consider, and you have to consider it.
Are you trying to claim that the U.S. performed better economically than Australia during the pandemic. Yep, this assertion is laughable.

You posted cases...
I posted cases....
But I have to consider more and suddenly it is not simple?
The graph was posted to claim lockdowns were not effective in Australia. I just simply showed that cases were extremely low even with the spiking as Delta variant made its way in. A chart with a spike is meaningless without context as you pointed out.
I gave context using Texas since they are close in population and perhaps opposite ends in measures taken to some extent.
I posted cases in response to lockdowns and mandates in Australia. I didn't say anything about Texas or comparison between Texas (or anywhere else) to Australia. It was saying "if lockdowns work so well, why do cases spike so much"?
That's it.
Then you took us on this comparison discussion.
