National Polls - Inside the margin...

Regarding National Polls...

Reuters showed their template for the poll for October 21...
They had biden plus 9
but they used

44 lean Democrats
38 lean Republican
10 percent independents
8 don't knows

1. That poll seems to have sampled far to few independents.

This is interesting... on page 15...

2. 44% of the people in their poll voted in the democrat primary
32% of the people voted in the Republican primary...

It seems to me the poll was slanted by 12 voters to Biden... yet biden only lead the poll by 9.

I hope we can see their template in the next few poll it will be interesting to see if this changes.

There all sorts of other slants you can see on page 15...
This is quite complicated...

They slanted the independents to democrats... 47 to 21 in the primary / caucus category
when form what I read... many republicans say they are independents...

I don't know but this looks like a very slanted poll to me.
Look at page 15 and tell me what you think..

This is a deep look than I have had experience with..
If you know polls please explain why such slants are justified.

Always go to the last page first, just like with a prospectus.

Polls are one thing , but a president refusing to support his own team ? . ? . ?
maybe he's trying to milk them for all they have.:).

Trump refusing to help some embattled GOP senators facing their own re-election woes

Trump-drinking-water-during-60-minutes-interview.jpg

Josh Holmes currently serves as a top adviser to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). While much of the GOP’s fate is on the chopping block this election cycle with closer races than anticipated and little help from the president himself, Holmes told Politico he thinks “you could have a whole bunch of scenarios play out on Election Day.” The worst-case scenario for the GOP, he said, is “potentially catastrophic.”

President Donald J. Trump privately told donors Thursday at a fundraiser in Nashville, Tennessee, that he wasn’t confident the GOP would remain in control of the Senate. Tickets for the private fundraiser Thursday went for up to $250,000.

“I think the Senate is tough actually,” Trump said at the event, an attendee told the Post on condition of anonymity. “The Senate is very tough. There are a couple senators I can’t really get involved in. I just can’t do it. You lose your soul if you do. I can’t help some of them. I don’t want to help some of them.”

are you joking?

You don't realize that going to look at the sample composition and reviewing the breakdown of the weighting is a far deeper look than going to the last page and reading the standard boilerplate?

Biden will win the popular vote by a wide margin. But who will be the next President is uncertain. It is going to come down to a couple states which the polls have as statistical ties right now.

Yeah... we could pick a Bush and had him nominate another Souter or Roberts.
We could have picked a biden or clinton and have them sell us out to China

Trump has not done many of things he promised in part because he got rolled by Ryan and McConnel and to some degree and he was not competent enough to create his own health care program and push it....

But, he has done what he said about the most important thing... the courts.

And Van Jones last week said has done some very good things for the black community... and frankly that is important. Rather than importing more workers we should be improving the lives of our citizens in this country. When they are good we can worry about more people.

He did have a very good and improving economy before Covid.

Imagine what he could have done had there not been Covid and the Bullshit Russia Collusion.

I will vote for him over a truly corrupt wrong policy his whole life.. plagarist like Biden without a second thought.

Frankly... I am happy if you think he was screwing over the Republican establishment... I wish he did more of it.

60 to 70 percent of the US is not being represented in Washington D.C.
The the financial elites maintain control of congress with their money and by polarizing the voters with a steady diet of media bullshit.

Jem needs to address this .......it was with his total support that it has come to this.

wow... you see you can be smart when you are not talking about the Federal Reserve.

Thanks for finally supplying a link. You seem to rarely, if ever, do that.

This allowed me to read the article and note that these emails were sent with a return address of "info@officialproudboys.com". And we're supposed to believe these folks sent a threatening email they knew would be traced right back to them?

What a joke.
%%
Exactly;
they traced that one back to IRAN...……………………………………………………………...

You have been a moron since at least 2016. And, you are not even American commenting in so many threads about politics here.

"Trump lost this election months ago. You and a few others are in for a surprise on election night. Then you'll spend 4 years complaining about Clinton no matter what occurs. When Obama got elected, most of his early projects were blocked by Republicans and very little could get done. Maybe some of you should spend less time complaining about weak policy based on bipartisan feelings and look at why watered down projects like Obamacare came into being."

I said on another thread. Trump got rolled by Ryan and McConnell on that.
He was too lazy to create his own health care plan and push it. or use it as leverage against the tax cuts.
That was a major error.
He made tons of them.

But, this evening if ACB is seated.
Never Trumpers like the Lincoln project will be shown to be fake Republicans or fake conservatives... whatever they claim to be.

3 leftist judges don't work for anyone who claims to have conservative or even republican values.

P.S. Trump already did his job and nominated an excellent candidate.
Overall, Trump did the most important thing he promised.
Hence the Lincoln project are POS fakes trying to get paid.

I don't know your politics... so I am not saying you should be happy Trump appointed 2 solid justices and nominated a 3rd. Just saying conservatives and even Republicans should be.

Now back to trading..
