Nashville Police Shooting

god damn dude wtf....hunted down as if he were an animal. They better throw the book at this POS. I wonder what his priors were to warrant being shot on sight?

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has said investigators believe that during the traffic stop, Hambrick "reportedly emerged from the vehicle with a firearm in his hand" and the "situation escalated," resulting in Delke firing his gun several times. It was not clear whether Hambrick pointed his gun at the officer.

Watch this video.
I gotta say that cop is gonna get whatever the max is they can throw at cops.
I mean this is BS imo. The kid was running. Apparently he had a gun. (?)
But deadly force in the back?

Once again we only see the very end. Not what led up to the chase and shooting.

Why can’t people just OBEY THE OFFICER?
I just don’t get it.

First let me say, I do not know ALL the details. Only what I saw when I posted the vid. You have provided more background. That being said....

So he was no boy-scout. Maybe he shouldn't have been out on the streets in the 1st place. What happened to 3 strikes and your out?

Being sarcastic here... but why didn't they just euthanize him while they had him the last time then? I mean basically you're saying the same thing by justifying shooting him in the back.

Each situation is different. But I don't care what his rap-sheet says... from what is visible on the video... he was shot in the back in cold blood... and there was no threat to the officer. They could have let him run and picked him up after he calmed down. It would not have been that hard. Obviously they knew this guy, they know where he hangs out and who his family is.

Lets see what happens with the investigation. Like I said... I am only commenting from what I saw. If there is more to it, hopefully we'll find out.

I dunno, Van. I went to watch it because of how you indicated it was one sided, but I gotta tell you, there is a part right there before the police officer shot that the perp turns to the side - he could have been pointing the firearm he supposedly had back at the cop when the cop took the shot.

This is not as clear cut as I had thought it would be at all.

The officer then approaches as if there is a live gun with the assailant.

I do not see the police officer take any defensive posture during his firing (which one would assume he would if a weapon was pointed in his direction) but the assailant clearly turns sideways during his running. Perhaps he is wildly firing or pointing and the cop knew there was little chance of a hit on him, so he paused, and fired back.

First degree murder.Thats why they kneel. That is why I support anthem protest and BLM.
Hands up, don't shoot! o_O
