Talking about someone with a pathological need for attention and anger issues. It's amusing to check in and see how he keeps going while I completely stopped paying any attention to him. We all know that such person can't stop and so the drama continues...

Once a dirtbag steps over the line, the severity of the punishment and how long it continues is not up to him any more. I would think that the obvious damage you received by being bullied during your entire childhood would have made that obvious to you, but no... clearly too stupid to get the most obvious lesson, even when it's driven in by a 2x4. Oh, there is something you can do about the term... the longer you run your mouth, the longer it's going to continue. So there's that.

Here's the funniest part, actually: there's a way to instantly pacify me - in fact, the @M.W. creature claims to be expert at the very thing that would do it.

The moment @destriero, @taowave, @newwurldmn, or any of (few) other knowledgeable people here start to seriously discuss trading, option or other - whether practice, theory, perspective, or anything else meaningful about it - I stick a sock in it, nod respectfully, and tuck myself into a corner with a notebook and a pencil. Won't hear a single peep out of me except for a sincere "thank you" - although you might feel waves of respect for those skill/ability/knowledge levels coming off me.

Then, a self-important over-inflated loudmouth comes in and claims to deserve the same level of respect without having done the slightest thing to earn it. Worse yet, it rails about people who don't give it that unearned respect - and tries to enter a battle of wits while armed like (and as drunk as) the average Russian in Ukraine. And it does so over and over, after losing every single bout.

Punching bag? Punching bag. Zero quarter, and ZFG.

I started this thread with a straight forward question to hear responses on the handling of outliers events involving options. I ended up with a couple of name calling mud slingers, who probably deserve to be living together under the same roof.

Sturgeon's Law is also always in play - and given the average denizen of ET, you're getting more or less the right proportion.

It's worth noting that I contributed a reasonable and relevant (albeit obvious) comment to start with. Just as obviously: had you blocked the initial shit stirrer, your averages for noise/signal would have been tremendously higher.
