Multi Monitor Video Card

thanks gnome, I guess I have to take my card to the store and have them mount and test it on their machine lol.

No way to know without trying. The 7300 is from their "gamer" line of cards, the 285 is from their "workstation" line. Each driver is different.

Suggest you go with both cards being from the same "line". If you try one of each, have a backup or image of your hard drive. Conflicting video drivers can really make a mess of your system.

FWIW... last summer I got a new computer which had a 7300 GS video card. I immediately sold it on eBay and replaced it with a 285x16 and 280 PCI... had to use that combo to keep my TV Tuner card happy.

So I guess the best choice would be hanging on to the one I have and adding one of the below. The question remains would they then be compatible?

1- NVIDIA GEFORCE 7300GS+ NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290
OR
2- NVIDIA GEFORCE 7300GS + NVIDIA Quadro NVS 285
If you haven't seen this, specs for the NVIDIA Quadro cards:

Taking it to the store will cost more than new video cards. And "testing on their machine" will do you no good at all. If there's testing to be done, it needs to be on YOUR machine.
