Could be a problem where the aforementioned oppo research is developed by a campaign via foreign agents and then fed to the FBI for the purpose of launching an investigation against a political opponent- especially where the FBI cut a check to finance future phases of the effort.
COULD BE A RATHER SIZEABLE PROBLEM IN FACT. We can agree that if Hilllary had been elected none of this would be known or be a problem, but contrary to repeated arguments here, she was not actually elected.

Well the reporting is McCain kicked the dossier over to the fbi and Steele (well known in the intelligence community) kicked over select info he thought was a crime. I wouldn’t call either of those a problem at all as long as they were kicked over in good faith and as far as we know neither of those actions were directed by the Clinton campaign.
Now, we can talk about calls for launching baseless investigations into political opponents - like Trump has done. That is a very big problem and a total abuse of power but I doubt you’ll acknowledge the corruption because it’s Trump.
Where there is potential for criminal liabilities in the Trump campaign is working with an unregistered foreign actor in a campaign, and the associated illegal activities such as hacking emails and using personal data (Facebook) to Target messages without proper authorization. Also, there is always the quid pro quo aspect. Trump’s benign attitude toward all things Russian and Putin is very suspicious. There is nothing like this even remotely suspected of the Clinton campaign.

Colin Powell sent a few emails back in the hunting and gathering period of emails where there were no departmental rules.
Condi rarely used email and acknowledged that -before the rules- she sent a few but solidly, solidly maintain an offical .GOV email address as her primary account to send and receive official government business.
As for Hilllary (hint: I see your gig, you are replaying old stuff to crabwalk away from Mueller), she did not send an occasional email in violation before the rules. She signed off that she had training on the departmental rule when she became employed. And then she not only violated them en masse but DELIBERATELY SET UP AN OFFLINE UNKNOWN SERVER BEYOND THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE DEPARTMENT AND USED A NON-.GOV EMAIL ADDRESS ON A DAILY BASIS EN MASSE. He daily business government business was being done on that server. Not even remotely comparable with Condi's or Powell's alleged incidences of violation.
With regard to Hillary being authorized to review and delete at will based on her own evaluation, let's give a great big NO to that as well. She received an order from the house intel committee to preserve ALL of her emails and turn the over to the committee. Within less than a week 35,000 were deleted and bleachbitted.

Ohr reported to McCabe and Comey for chrissake. And his wife was developing/compiling the dossier over at fusion. And Ohr was demoted and reassigned for meeting with fusion regularly and allegedly hiding/not reporting it to superiors. It gets murky in areas because Comey, Ohr, McCabe, Steele etc are all denying claims that the others did not know this or that in order to save their own arses. Only an independent counsel can sort all that out. OR A VIGOROUS DEFENSE TEAM DOING AGGRESSIVE DISCOVERY TO KEEP THEIR CLIENT OUT OF THE SLAMMER BY IDENTIFYING THE TRUE CULPRITS.

Bullshit. Did the Russians keep Hillary out of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania in the month leading up to the election ? Did the Russians tell Hillary not to make one single stop at Wisconsin during the entirety of the general election ? Did the Russians hack into Hillary's mind and force her to proclaim to half the electorate that they are a "basket of deplorables"? Was James Comey on the Russian payroll ? Did the Russians force Hillary to use a private email server while Secretary of State ? One thing the polling did manage to nail was a clear indication that the electorate was looking for political and economic change - so did the Russians force Hillary to stick to a one dimensional message attacking Trump's personality? Did the Russians force Hillary to avoid putting out even one nationwide political ad that was policy driven?
If you truly in your heart believe that Russian collusion cost Hillary the campaign than you are even more a warped ideologue than most sitting Democrats on the hill.

As to Rice and Powell, now you’re playing a game of scale. That doesn’t work either, if 33,000 email are illegal then 1 email is illegal. That’s how it works.

The Clinton campaign had to fight three opponents 1. Trump’s campaign 2. The Russians and Wikileaks and 3. James Comey. Combined they defeated her.
Ask yourself, if Comey would have revealed the Trump campaign was under investigation for working with the Russians and a foreign country such as China was helping Clinton would Trump be the president today. The answer is no.
It’s not bullshit. You may want Trump to have won fair and square but he did not.
