Don 't know about the States, but in Western Europe kids are very aware of the fact an adult is not allowed to beat them. Quite often this leads to unacceptable behavior, but there's nothing to can do about it.

I didn't see any video of the cop "beating" her. After he dragged her out of the desk, didn't he merely hold her down while telling her to "give him her hands" so [presuming] he could cuff her? Isn't that what usually happens when someone resists? I'm not convinced from the video I saw (multiple times) that the cop used excessive or even unreasonable force. (??)

Sure, I wasn't referring how the cop handled it. IMO that kid asked for it. Just saying kids know you can't touch them and abuse that.

This isn't about this particular situation. Once the police get involved, they have to do their job. How many times should a person - in a general confrontation with the police - be given to comply before the cop forces them to comply?
