Thomas Sowell claimed it's easy to choose less work and more pay and that is why he accepted a position at the Hoover Institute. He doesn't have to teach. He gets paid for being an intellectual. Was his choice foreordained by his race? And if not, why don't we have more non blacks on the dole? Or do we have a lot of people doing little and getting paid for it, but just not by the state. Like the executive suite occupants and the bankers so many complain about.

Imagine if all the blacks were as smart as Sowell. They would crowd out the current upper echelons. Lloyd Blankfein would be a Sowell leiutenant, and so on down the line.

That's probably a little scarier to you than the current staus quo.

The revolting combination of liberalism and race politics, that's what I am against. Ideas such as using government to redistribute until people with black skin have the same amount of money as people with white skin. Policies that create such things as hate speech, hate crimes, diversity, affirmative action, and promote one race living off another.

I am aganist class warfare in general, but race warfare is whole new level.

I am for trying to create a society with abundant opportunity for all, yet acceptance of unequal outcomes if people cannot, or will not, produce their share.

Having 36 million Thomas Sowell's in the US (instead of what we got) would cure all our fiscal & political problems.

Many cities have a Greektown, a Poletown, a Chinatown or a little Italy. People go there to eat, shop and check out the culture.

Where and what is the black community in our cities? MLK blvd should be a cultural street, filled with black shop owners, restaurants, maybe a club. Where are the soul food restaurants?

Policies in place scarcely threaten to level wealth between blacks and whites. At least any whites I am familiar with.

I can accept arguments opposing numerical goals of diversity ad affrimative action but I am a a little boggled at lumping hate speech and crimes with them.

We didn't need to fight a civil war, economics would have ended slavery. Machines are much cheaper than slaves. I think southerners would have been smart to take up Lincoln on his offer for compensation for lost slaves and support relocation. hindsight is 20/20

The technology was in it's infancy. But, you have to also believe the Civil War was fought over slavery, which was not the primary reason. Why would hundreds of thousands of poor Southern soldiers who never owned slaves fight for slavery?

Exactly, something else I've argued before. The history revisionists and bleeding hearts don't want to hear it though.

The effectiveness of the policy differs from the intent, and the intention I can assure you is to level outcomes. The attempts will get more and more draconian until white people, all of them, put a stop to it. In the end though, I agree, it will never work barring an all out dictatorship.


Hate speech etc. are part of that stalin-like package of control they seek because they think they know better than I. I want all of it gone
