Sierra drove me nuts. So did Ensign...
LOL. More complexity is usually more difficult unfortunately. I think QT is fine for some uses but it misses quite a bit I like about Sierra (7 per month) and some things that might make me go to Ensign again (40 per month).
It depends what you want to do.
Fortunately complexity has nothing to do with making profits in
the market. I like simplicity myself. Apparently I have been using
QT since "98. One thing I didn't like about Ensign is you have to
stretch your Ensign window across your monitors. I have monitors
that are from different companies and it just doesn't work with
Ensign. With QT, you can use any monitors you want and still be
able to put charts, etc anywhere on any of your monitors and not
worry about it. Plus, the charts didn't keep up with the quotes
when I was using Ensign. The charts were real sticky. Like glue.
Not very good T&S either. And Ensign likes to freak out, not too
stable in my opinion. And for $39.95 a month? LOL...
Sierra is about 3 notches below QT and Ensign...
As far as printing with QT, just send it to your email box. It's easy
to print charts from there... If you are into annotating your charts
then just do it by hand after you print it. Been doing it for years...
QT rocks...
