Medved Quotetracker or Sierra

If you enable beta update notification on OPTIONS/Edit Preferences menu, MISC screen, click OK, then select OPTIONS/WebUpdate, you will get the 3.6.4E version

TWS - they are up to 851.6 I believe. Not sure what the latest standalone version is. NOTE: you can run the browser one like the standalone since they now use Java WebStart.

I click on OPTION/Edit Preferences. Then I select "Notify me about Beta Updates" Then did the WebUpdate thingie. Still wouldn't update me to 3.6.4E.

Does one need the latest to fix that backfill problem? Or am I doing something else wrong?
 
after checking that box, did you click OK and then do a WebUpdate? Or just click the button right there? Click OK first.

The new version together with the new TWS version works much better with IB multiday backfill

OK. Thanks. I think it works now... Hopefully, it will continue to do so tomorrow. Cuz on some days it works and others it doesn't. But perhaps this new version will make it work all the time.

BTW, what is the symbology for NKD? I couldn't get it to work. GLOBEX:@NKDU5.
 
GLOBEX:@NKDU5 is the correct symbol. I just tried here and it works fine. Is NKD working on your account in TWS directly?

There's no historical chart for that symbol? Do you know where to get historical for that symbol? thanks!
 
Check if Prophet.net has it.

We are working on our own historical charts that will work like the intraday charts. Hope to have that out 2005.

No lag on SierraChart's Charts on my machine either (and its only an 800Mhz PIII with 384M ram).

What I like is I can now get 50 (yep 50) days of backfill on some things. Way to go IB and Sierra!

do you have historical chart for the NKD contract yet? How abotu the ags(corn, cattle, hogs, soybeans,etc.)

just wanted to kwno the progress since you said you will have it out in 2005. It's 2006 now.
