Maverick Vs Don Bright

Quote from HurricaneUS:

Mav averages 3.83 posts per day....you'll never win in trying to shout him down because he will ALWAYS come back ad infinitum just to have the last word.....

I simply decided not to engage him after our little spat because I have better stuff to do with my time...I would suggest not getting into a tit for tat with him...

And my post, which was actually a compliment to Mav, got deleted. I realize I'm from a competing firm, but really? Nice job mods. Way to be unbiased.

What? I don't need any complimentary posts to me deleted here. What the hell is going on mods? LOL.

What firm are you with?

If anyone cares about the fees:

Don,

I looked at your fees link:
(Over 100K/month): All shares: .005 with .0025 for shares above 1,000
(Above 500K/month): All shares .004 with .0025 for shares above 1,000
(Above 5 million/month): All shares flat .0025
Over 10 Million - Call for rates

Although you may not remember this, but I used to privately ask if 0.002 was possible for 15+ Million. The reply I got was that you normally pay 10 times that amount. That would be 0.02 which is a lot higher than the highest rate in the above list. How should I react to this?

:(

Echo. I thought that was clear.

have no idea what this is all about but the cool title made me click.

mav, i remember reading a lot of your option posts you posted over the years when i started learning options a few years back (seems like ages now), they were very helpful.

Best of luck on your trading with bright. Looks like you dont focus as much on options now?

As far as my background, I have traded equities, options and futures for over 15 years. My background is more in options then anything else. But back in the day, I traded up a storm at Worldco in NY trading listed equities. I spent a great deal of time posting on a tape reading thread here on ET breaking down the ins and outs of properly reading the tape.

Hi Mave!

Could be so kind and post the link of the thread about tape reading ?

Ty and good luck with your etf strategy on bright

Mav, good luck with Bright.

I don't follow the logic concerning the better deal... Echo is cheaper and has a higher payout. So you chose Bright because of the office space?
