Huh? What did I say? Seriously dude, the guy asked me a question. I answered it. Some of you guys around here are really sensitive. Look, I don't work for Bright nor do I get compensated in any way. Atty asked me why I went with Bright and I told him. Do you want me to lie to him? Is anything I said about Bright not true? Seriously, dude look, I have spent the better part of 10 years backing up my word and my integrity on this site and no one has challenged it offline. Because I put it all out there. If you think I said something that is not materially not true, please inform me what it is. And if I'm wrong, I'll be a gentleman and own up to it. It has nothing to do with my ego, it has to do with my character. I NEVER said what Echo's payout is, another poster did. You should go after him, not me.

Any more info you can share regarding your strategy? I've been trading market neutral spreading strategies using equity ETFs versus us treasury etfs.
I am curious if Bright could offer the 30:1 leverage with negatively correlated pairs. For example the SPY and TLT. I thought the leverage Bright gave was primarily 15:1 Long position and 15:1 short position. But obviously if two symbols are negatively correlated such as the SPY and tlt, you wouldn't short one and be long the other.

Basically, you are making critical commentary of REAL firms run by REAL people with a FAKE alias. You present your opinion as fact and don't even have the courtesy to say "This is only my personal opinion." When you call a fake alias a name like "idiot", etc, there is no harm done, no damages. However, these are real firms and they can come back to make you justify your position in a court of law.
I know you want to come on here and help us all out by stating your opinion, but there is no benefit if you wind up being sued over some comments you made under a fake alias. I know you may be an upstanding guy, but try telling that to the judge and convince him. Not a very comfortable situation IMHO. At the very least you can make a disclaimer stating this is only your personal opinion on the issues rather then presenting it as a fact.
No, I'm sorry. I'm not buying this. I have stated no facts of any other firm. I simply stated the reasons why I joined Bright. End of story. You can read into this however you want. I have asked people to politely tell me what "facts" I've gotten wrong. And no reply.
I've been posting on these forums for a decade. Hell, I've spent the better part of a decade going after Don, the number one sponsor on this site. And never once did I ever go after Don with something that was not true. You need to understand that there is a difference between facts and making shit up. I am stating facts. You can't be sued over facts. Nor can one be sued over giving their opinions.
And 90% of the guys on this forum know exactly who I am. My personal information has been plastered all over this site not to mention the fact that I give out my personal information to ANYONE that asks for it over PM.
Why does every thread on ET end up like this? Mav was nice enough to post a "Hey I left Vtrader to join Bright and I want to tell you about it" thread and all he gets is grief.
For as much discussion as the Brights get on ET, there are very few people that trade there and post here about it. I'm happy to see someone step up and discuss it on the merits. I'm sure Mav is going to give it to us straight.

As far as I know, by now most ET regulars know who Mav is IRL. I don't recall him ever being particularly shy about sharing that information.
