One things for sure, Surf has a following.

DG seems like a decent guy with a sense of humor, so I doubt this bothers him at all. What grates on people (incl Baron) are Surf's incessant schemes to use ET to get his name and various endeavors in the public eye for free.
Add to that his shameless name-dropping and schmoozing of financial bigs, along with his inability to understand that T/A trading techniques, in the right hands, can be a useful and profitable tool.
That said I wouldn't mind if Surfy was allowed back. His threads, especially with the option guy "riskarb" commenting, were some of the best entertainment ET has had. And I've been a member since 2001.

No because Waldo is difficult to find.
Surf is not difficult to find, he appears everywhere, even where they don't want him to appear. So it is rather "escaping from Surf".
I wish he would hide, a lot of people would do their ultimate best to be sure not to find him.
