I was mostly thinking of the "Surf Report" threads over the years. Lots of posts there tho.

And unfortunately riskarb had several nicks. Not from deception, but because he kept getting banned for being an ornery sonofagun...

Agree. And his ripping into Surfer and other pretenders was awesome and, usually, funny as hell.

Still would like to see both riskarb and Surfy back (officially). ET is a little boring lately. It's mostly about trading now! :D

don't know riskarb personally but i can tell when someone is dumb, and when someone is supersmart. riskarb is in top 5% of the latter, imo

i would NOT want to knowingly be on other side of his trade:wtf:

Who is that guy...what was/is his trading style?
How are you so personally sure he's a "true genius" or one of the Top 5% of Traders in the world o_Oo_O

Assuming all of that is true, what was his annual average % return?
Is he one of those rare, mythical traders who turned his relatively small initial seed capital to a huge, exponential amount?

Well, lets color it up a bit here.

So is David Goodboy a pseudonym? Who the f*ck has a last name like "Goodboy"? Is he the Mark Twain of trading or what?

Ever heard of Google? Type "David Goodboy" and you will see. He even uses his name to mislead people, his name should be at least BADBOY.

Goodboy has a similar personality as Bernie Madoff (same ethnic group... coincidende?)

Watch Surf's incessant schemes to use ET to get his name and various endeavors in the public eye for free. Bernie used these tactics to. Uses others to make money for yourself.

Add to that his shameless name-dropping and schmoozing of financial bigs, along with his inability to understand that T/A trading techniques. Bernie never traded too, it was all fake.

We know where Bernie ended. Let's see now where surf will end.
