Maybe. But most def in the wrong place. I cannot even imagine the rational behind "take it all". This is America...you live the dream and succeed or fail from your own doing and maybe a little luck. And suddenly you watch your parents/grandparents/siblings hard work, blood and sacrifice evaporate because they are dead? Thats not socialism thats just fucking evil, disrespectfull and greedy.

But your ok with your legacy, blood,sweat and sacrifice being stolen from you with no chance to distribute how you see fit?

Do you risk your own money in your ventures? I would be surprised if the honest answer was yes.

I'm also an amateur philosopher: there is no "me" to suffer from taxation or other form of inconvenience after death. As for current taxation, I do not find it to be onerous. Maybe it's just a glass half full or half empty kind of thing, but the more I pay in taxes the more seems to be in my accounts.

This honest answer is "yes". Of course I risk my own money, but admittedly only in a current livelihood sense, as my assets are protected behind incorporation, unlike most traders I suppose. But I also risk that of others too, I'm thinking mainly of my employees, and to a lesser extent, my shareholders. I should say "our" since I do not have a controlling share and there are several officers.

But I dream of owning one of those progressive "California" businesses though, privately held and where all the employees have an equal stake, and voice. That sounds both committed and fun to me. Perhaps that will be my semi retirement.
 
The right wingers have no concept at all of synergy in a company. They only think about a pyramid scheme, where they are at the top. That's their goal, to be a master of slaves, not a member of a team that works together to achieve a common goal...

I concur, income taxes are not the issue for me. Its the total annihilation of my lifes work by govt leeches that is.

I do like the way you think, kudos. We will agree to disagree regarding the death tax issue.

I'm going to have to drop this line for now, but I will say that your comment is only true for some. There are in fact justifiably miffed rightists, amongst the tea party even, whose anger is valid, if misdirected. And I'm also referring to those who say government can become too big and too pervasive, which is obviously true.

Me thinks optional777 doth protests too much.

I never proclaimed to be a right winger. "Wingers" make me ill. I prefer fair and equitable situations for everybody. Not individual nor corp welfare states as "the wingers" have created.
