Completely agree. Except Kavanaugh was essentially ruined without being determined to be guilty, and if democrats had their way, no investigation of any credibility would have been done.

All I'm noting is your eagerness to jump on Kavanaugh the moment an accusation was put forth (you have dozens of posts on this forum ready to burn the guy at the stake) and your similar zeal to instantly cast doubt on Avenatti's accusers without having any knowledge of the accusations, merely because the guy is a hero to the left.

Most of us see that as hypocritical.

Liberals are the biggest hypocrites around! Do as I say, not as I do! While, they claim to be for women, the biggest sexual predators can be found in Hollywood. You know, the ones who proclaim that we should listen to them because they are all saints? The same ones who exchange favors with Harvey Weinstein for roles in movies and fame? One of his accusers by the way was caught in a text message no less admitting to such an arrangement yet, she sued him anyway?

That isn't the point. The point, to restate it yet again, is that you are instantly eager to shout to the sky about how Avenatti is probably innocent of these charges, despite having no evidence (I agree with this belief, by the way). However, you took the exact opposite position without evidence with Kavanaugh and instantly tried to burn him the moment a whisper of wrongdoing (which later turned out to be bullshit) came out.

That is the obvious hypocrisy.

I don't get bit in the ass because I make my comments on solid principles - even if they aren't principles you agree with - I am consistent. This is why you'll never be able to catch me in some situation where I do not apply these principles evenly. Or if you can find such an example, I will willingly embrace it to drive out hypocrisy in my own world views. I don't want it.

You, however, focus on the team first, caring little for principles.

Two of them have been referred to the justice department for making false statements/accusations. One has already stated on the record that she made the whole frigging thing up because "I was angry." The other has lawyered up, pleading the fifth, and will not publicly confirm what she has previously stated on the record.

Keep defending them. They need it.
