Relax man. I've only ever seen AMP keep margins at exchange maximums during March volatility. I've seen them double and even triple it from daytrade margins, but i've never seen em keep it that high. They just jumped the gun is all. Better be safe than sorry when you're a small broker

Find someone with a FuturesOnline/OEC/GainCapital retail account.
They are the absolute worst (futures specific firm) regarding inconsistent and unreliable day to day daytrade margins.
Almost always one of the first to raise, and usually THE LAST to lower.
They don't have the same day margins for overnight though. In plain ol normal times, their overnight margins are double or triple rth day margin. Still might be worth asking one their clients what tonights margin is.

Brokers like AMP are doing you a favor. Don't like it? Go to Interactive Brokers.

unofficial numbers until i get the monthly statement. I also added the withdrawals i had every month. Yes i withdrew from this month even though it's a loss. I figure why not.. i'd like to start at even 20k
and here is the weekly summary. viewer discretion is advised
and of course , those some withdrawals go into KO...bought my end of month shares at market since they are below 10% fair price of $52.63
