Enough trolling.
if you are a new to the markets you'll find some of their stuff interesting, Senter's coverage of internals is interesting, also they cover all markets stocks, bonds, ag futures, currencies, etc. Not just stocks like others.Quote from TacTrader:
Hi all...
Well I have listened to TTM (Carter and Senters) for a couple of weeks now and waded through all of their free videos. I signed up for their $5.00 for two weeks trial to get to some of their members only stuff. I find that they are definitely for the newer trader and focus on fairly simple strategies and most importantly a trading plan (which I believe in). I do not think I will sign up for anything further since it is $79.99 a month for their video newsletters (for each one not both) when I can get a pretty good amount of info from their free stuff. Do I think they are crooks? Ehh...don't know but not impressed with the fact that their thousand dollar indicator package can be had for free from the TS forums. BTW I don't currently use TS so I wouldn't know if they were there or not if I had not read this thread. Good info from all and hopefully my two cents is welcome...

But I would not sign up for or pay money for anything they promote just yet. It seems sometimes they partner with "industry pros" for joint seminars. I think they had or will have something with Mark Douglas if you consider him pro - but if were wanting to listen to him then combining TTM and his seminars might worth while. Otherwise as you already noticed most of their Indicators available free on TS Forums. I don't know what is the policy with these 'open-source' indicators but apparently one can modify it, rename it and sell for a profit. I wonder if original authors of those indicators got anything from Carter or TS but I do know there is a partnership or collaboration between Carter and TS.Quote from travelingtrader:
Just enormous losses virtually every day.
As for the endorsements John Hill is a publisher not a trader, Price Headley is not a profitable trader I have heard, Mark Douglas is either modestly profitable or unprofitable from what I have heard, and Carolyn Boroden is a technical analyst not a trader.
90% or more of people that sell trading education products are either not traders at all or unsuccessful traders. If someone has something that works they are not going to sell it to you for 29.95.
