Quote from riskfreetrading:
Do you rather mean this: "The world is the RESULT/CONSEQUENCE of unbelief in Christ. "
Just so you know that i read your posts.
Yes...effect...result...consequence.
The cause is unbelief in Christ.
So,
Who does not believe in Christ?
"A house divided against itself cannot stand", means that part of the mind of Christ does not believe in itSelf. This is the same as a part desiring to be something other than Christ [desire precedes belief/unbelief]. That is why i say "the universe" is a self-concept. It is the conceptual conception of what is nOt Christ, what is opposed to Christ...what is anti-Christ. So the world is a "mask", and everything that goes on in it is a "masquerade". The world is something that part of Christ's mind wants to "be". This is only temporary...hence...time.
So,
The problem is internal, and psychological.
So,
Salvation is for the mind of Christ.
Salvation is for a split mind, a mind divided in its loyalties.
This is a kind of schizophrenia...sickness.
Salvation "heals" a split mind, and make it whole again.
On one side of his mind is "the universe".
On the other is the Kingdom of God.
Both of these are "within" Christ.
One exists. One does not, but seems real.
This presents a conflict of interests...confusion...darkness.
Everyone on "the universe" side of the mind of Christ is complicit [involved] in the unbelief in Christ. Otherwise, they would not be appearing as self-concepts which deny they are Christ. Therefore, if you ask a christian if he is Christ, and he denies it, he is complicit in the "sin" of unbelief in Christ.
Only Christ is. If one is not Christ, he is in denial. So he exists in the side of Christ's mind that is in denial of Self.
Accordingly, the world is a place of conflict because it is the fallout of mental conflict against the "good" in favor of a concept of "good and evil" together.
So salvation is for mending this mental conflict by empowering the wise to choose between "the universe" and the Kingdom of God.
Jesus chose, and so he was "chosen" [made up his mind, single-minded].
One must be single-minded on this choice because the two options are diametrically opposed, or, unlike each other.
"The universe" is the Kingdom of God turned upside down, backwards, inside out, and blown to bits.
So one must choose.
Murray Turtle enjoys conflict, ignorance, idolatry, viral memes and stupidity.
So his choice is with "the universe" for now. May be for a long long time.
Christ!
