What you call criminals, I call a tiny nation surrounded by others whose main interest is erasing them from the Earth. Islam has killed far more people and babies than Israel ever did. Conservative Christians tend to the defense of Israel and Jerusalem because that is our spiritual root and trunk. Pretty much everyone who wrote the New Testament, excepting a couple like Luke, was Jewish.. Christianity is basically the other Jewish sect that survived Rome's destruction of Israel, in addition to a line of Pharisaic Judaism. Sadducees, Essenes and other sects disappeared.
Since you are a christian, I assume that you do not keep grudges. I could not reread those words, as I am usually a nice guy even towards people who hurt me. This forum is making me another person I guess. I retract what I wrote about you in that thread. I will try to find that post and email the moderator to remove it, or go back and respond to it in that thread.
I do not try to"grudge" Being a Christian is seeking to speak, follow and represent truth. It is being a witness to the things that God has done, and not bowing down to the world view. Today, someone said about how abortion is often required or proper, when someone who is raped or otherwise bearing a child she does not want, blah blah blah. I said, it is evident in scripture, that fetuses are considered as living people to God, so I don't give a flying whoopee what people on earth justify. Nor the complex scenarios that scientists and others cook up about abortion. I will not be answering to them after this life ends, even though I am a devoted person of science. One of the clearest things in the Old & New Testament is, that there are the "many" and the "few". The few are those who follow God at all costs and don't try to spin things against His will or purpose. The many have little hope, regardless of the beliefs of those on Earth.
You see, I respect facts. When I reached the conclusion with facts and a proof about that scammer, I did not hesitate to nail the guy and give you credit, and have him out of my "friendship" list, and get you back in.
I retract what I wrote about you in that thread. I think I should have stayed on the sideline, and waited to see what he would do.
To compensate, I will have you as a friend, if you accept it. I will give you a break if I see you pounding on a guy another time. After all you seem to know a lot of people around here, and have seen the good, bad and ugly.
I appreciate, but dumping visceral words on someone is not often a start to a beautiful friendship. I usually excoriate someone who is trying to take advantage of this site or of others or is not speaking the truth/reality. People like Hershey who are leading newbies into hopelessness. As everyone else, I am also guilty of being human and having a temper, etc. But that is a disease of being allive and among my numerous weaknesses.

PS: Love is the most aspect that one gets our of the bible books. Even books that contain errors, and possible falsifications, written by humans (with good moral but who are not devine or are sent by the divine) have something positive.
The reality is, the Bible is written for the true believers. To others it is written to, as it says "The preaching of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing." The true knowledge of God is impenetrable to people, only through God to a true believer can real undertstanding be found. And many other passages that says God confounds the wisdom of the wise, and that Christ was a stone that the leaders and rulers would stumble over.
I have read sections of the Qu'ran and the entire Bible, and do not share your affection for its mightiness. The number of look forward prophecies that are obviously true in the Bible is in the hundreds, not 3 or a few. And on the other hand, it does not seek to prove itself. God does not a defense or our help. We are the ones with the problems.
The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not the same God as all other religions believe. I have studied the main religions, and there are huge differences. One of the things Islam killed off, was the grace of God, and turned him back into a God of works. Hinduism is a religion of works, where followers keep coming back as something different, based on past life behavior. And on it goes... A Christian relationship with God is founded entirely on the mercy of He who is everlasting. On He who already was knowledgeable of all people before the world began, including those who would believe and not before we even existed. A God who described Himself as "I Am." Our superlatives are flimsy offerings to One who is not in need of them, but desired to have a people founded who were forgiven by His mercy and desired to serve Him all the days of our lives, regardless of the cost. Who seek justice even for the unjust, and certainly not causing the death of our own friends and family members who trust and love us, as we ourselves our sinful and forgiven through His mercy/grace and not because we somehow were better followers. Do we do it perfectly? Heaven forbid!!!
