Yeah, let Obama fire his FBI director during an investigation. Nixonian much?
He has probably already calculated that there is no way he keeps his job after Hillary is in the Oval Office and the Senate is controlled by Democrats. He's determined that even though he let Hillary off the hook, she's not going to keep him on. So he is going for broke in a gamble that Trump can will with his help. This is cynical, I know. I hope I'm wrong! If I am right, however, than this is most definitely not someone we want leading the FBI.

No, not Obama. But the FBI director serves at the pleasure of the president. I suspect the incoming president will have some displeasure about the unorthodox and undisciplined conduct of the FBI director. Will she act on it? Who's to say.
