Its impossible to be profitable in trading as a retail trader

I agree so when I devised this method , it has to work in brexit situations/extreme markets. The method I have is very robust. How I trade is unique and totally different to how you guys trade.

In 2015 it dropped 30% , in 2008 /9 it dropped 50% , so I am well prepared for it
Looks interesting, did you bet the ranch? All charts and indicators are lagging. So you won a trade, next time bet the ranch and report back please, i would like to see the results.

It is not chart based at all , we never look at prices /technicals or charts , we just look at futures and options prices

How long then as sufficient proof, in my view rarely trader they can making good profit a year, often I am hear many trader fail less than six month especially retail trader

If I just have to name X amount of years then probably 10.
But it's more complicated than that - the backtest period needed is a function of number of rules and trades per year. If the method is extremely simple, it doesn't need a 5000 trade backtest but if it's curve fit then even 5000 might not be enough.
I'm saying curve fit because whether we like it or not, all our stuff is curve fit to some extent.

we look for for specific set ups /patterns we are used to , but can't see the trees from the forest , we can not look for the unknown or other risks .

cognitive bias deludes us from seeing anything else , other than curve fitting as ok.

People who can trade just trade, building their wealth over time. They don't feel the need to go onto trader's forums and brag about it or charge others for some dubious "service".

Now that I look back, if I just followed the buy and hold strategy with most of my trades I would have been a millionaire within 5 years.

Jack Bogle (founder of Vanguard) has said numerous times on various media and print, the "buy and hold" strategy will outperform most active managers and investors over the long term. Here's a good article regarding Bogle and some commentary regarding index investing.
