Iterative Refinement

Quote from Talas:

It's a flaw in a channel that you don't have drawn. A non-dominant movement on one level (tree) is also a dominant movement on a lower level (branch).

Thank you, Talas. This is what I saw at the time. My logic, which may be incorrect due to being only half-through the futures journal, is that this FTT was not going to be followed by FBO, because the sentiment has changed (Flaws present themselves only in dominant traverses) and we find ourselves in a dominant traverse from pt1 to pt2 in up trend.

Final for the day, that area between 2:20 and 3:15 was a bit of a struggle. Still did very well today.

I dropped using the pennants and only use laterals now as it simplifies it for me. I stopped annotating numbers and letters too because it is much easier to just see it and act.

Tough day for me today, Lost a better part of the morning profits with over-trading and little washes.

Noted areas of deficiency:

I still look for change too much - This causes difficulty on trending days like today. After a long day of being head faked by seeing change that wasnt - I start to dismiss and second guess my MADA and miss the REAL change signals. :(

I need more study on flaws (romanus's questions raised the flag that I am deficient in this area)

Found myself jumping the gun on decision and action when I should have pulled back and waited for a MORE complete data set.

Got caught sleeping on the fanned channel which anticipated the PT3 (Bar 55) and then ignored Bar 67-69 B\/B and got washed out of a nice move up.

Just thought I would share my thoughts with you folks... and if you have some helpful suggestions or have had problems in these areas, please provide some feedback.

I will chaulk it up to a good learning session and use ths day to do some extra debrief and re-programming.

Have a great night folks!

Just a thought...stop trading and learn the method first.
