It is not hard to see why they make so much money off of their products. Yes, they are elegant but Apple is no better than Microsoft in over-hyping and then under-delivering the original product.
I may end up getting an iPad after all because I like my iPod Touch a lot but I'd rather have a decent computer in a tablet form if I'm going to pay 700-800. Plus, I know Apple's game and they undoubtedly leave out desirable features for a later version. Smart strategy for them but not so much for their users (but that Apple Kool-Aid sure tastes good doesn't it? mmmm).
