I-pad

Currently in the same boat, I have an iPhone 3G. Apparently certain things will be disabled/toned down because Apple felt the hardware couldn't handle the additional load without downgrading the experience.

Considering that they have produced excellent results so far, I would tend to trust their judgment.

Either way, you can jailbreak the device to enable MT I heard.

Ok, see if you can explain this one to me since you are such a huge fan of Apple. They just released version 4 of the iPhone/iPod Touch OS which includes many long awaited new features. I downloaded this on my iPod Touch today hoping to get multi-tasking finally.

However, it now appears that they are not enabling multi-tasking even with the upgrade on iPod touch 8/16GB models. Seems that Apple is screwing the users who own lower end models again. There is no technical reason why multi-tasking should still be disabled but that's the way it goes with Apple. Apple is worse than Microsoft with these selective feature upgrades and limited functionality on new products!

FYP,

iPhone 4 review

Note the laudatory tone on the impressive industrial design of the iPhone 4.

iPhone 4 is out and getting a lot of demand apparently. Too bad it loses 3g reception when you hold it in your hand a certain way. Maybe Apple can come up with a special designer iPhone glove accessory to sell along with it. Droid X is looking better and better everyday.

On the right is the "correct" way to hold the iPhone 4. :)

You mean the left.

That's why they are selling the expensive $29 bumper. :p

Seriously it's hard to believe this got past QA. Prob due to all the secrecy, they didn't do enough testing.

I'm interested in the comparison with Droid X versus iPhone 4. But a lot of reviewers are saying the iPhone 4 is hands down the top dog now.

Here's is Steve Job's response to the hand holding antenna problem on iPhone 4. Classic! Doctor, my neck hurts when I turn my head from to right to left. Doctor says well then don't turn your head. Problem solved!

Apple drones, your god has spoken. Stop complaining about the iPhone 4 reception. It is clearly your fault because you are not holding it correctly not Apple's. Carry on.
