I guess its now illegal to offend someone near a college campus

You may be a pantheist golfer but the last thing you strike me as is 'progressive'.
Maybe go back to the drawing board on that one.

Personally I'm a Fiscally Conservative/Socially Liberal Anti-theistic golfer.

Oh? And how am I not a progressive?

More like a gopher... as in "go do something useful and get me the AC part".

Nah. I work alone. I make 3 k in two days retrofitting HVAC systems because I don't have to pay anyone else. Did two in the last two weeks. Most companies use at least two guys to do what I do alone. Then I go play golf or go sailing or on a motorcycle ride or walk my dog on "my " beach and woods. I get the satisfaction of making something, it pays well, and reduces CO2 emissions. And I arrange my work around the weather. Golf takes precedence.

I could retire but I don't mind my work, almost enjoy it, and it keeps me in shape.

Actually I will give you credit for balancing work and life. It is good that you enjoy golf, sailing, and your other activities.

I will also admit I respect people who work in trades and run their own company such as HVAC. I understand the pain of having employees when running a small firm, and the trade-offs of doing it yourself versus having helpers.

My brother-in-law ran his own electrician firm. In his early years once in a while I was his helper (when he was desperate... I have electrical engineering degrees but no electrician license). He ran his own firm for twenty years with two helpers before selling it to a competitor. He "retired" (which lasted for four weeks before he went stir crazy) and then went to work as a electrician for the local school system about nine months ago. He is also the electrician for Habitat.

What's your handicap?

Oh, and how is that?

And you are not a progressive anyway. You're a "libertarian". Not the same thing. In fact libertarians would take us backwards. Mutually exclusive terms.
Obama is a 'progressive' and I'm not sure that Anyone believes the country has progressed: economically, socially, fiscally, whatever....for the better, in the last 7 years.
