A common man might opt for an afternoon nap instead of attending a nuclear arms summit. If I were feeling a little tired and run down, I know I would. I sometimes go out for drinks when I haven't cleaned my floors, too.

No, being "in touch" with the common man should not be a pre-requisite for being president.....

what is wrong with the idea of tariffs? If we impose a large tariff on imports we put all of our own companies who outsource at a disadvantage. If the tariff is high enough to negate the benefit of cheap labor then those jobs have a good chance of winding up back here.

while he might not respond, i have to be fair and say that ricky is at least functional and he can hold a rational argument, even though i disagree with him on probably everything i've ever seen him post. that is way more than i can say for most of the "progressives" on here.
