What Was In Building 7?

http://wtc7.net/background.html

"One of the most interesting tenants was then-Mayor Giuliani's Office of Emergency Management, and its emergency command center on the 23rd floor. This floor received 15 million dollars worth of renovations, including independent and secure air and water supplies, and bullet and bomb resistant windows designed to withstand 200 MPH winds. The 1993 bombing must have been part of the rationale for the command center, which overlooked the Twin Towers, a prime terrorist target.

How curious that on the day of the attack, Guiliani and his entourage set up shop in a different headquarters, abandoning the special bunker designed precisely for such an event."

Oh please... DOD and the CIA shared the 25th floor with the IRS. Big fucking deal.

And why did the "conspirators" wait until 5:20 PM to blow the building? To make the "melted steel" story look good? :p

BTW, the WTC 7 info you have is not correct.....the building was SO HARDENED that even the CIA used it for their SECOND largest intel hub in the US other than Langley. WTC 7 was a brick $hit house and would have easily taken direct commercial aircraft hits without collapsing.......the main problem with most of you guys is your SOURCE for your info.

You all keep eating THEIR $hit.......go FIND your own organic food AT THE SOURCE!!!!! :D Go to the SOURCE and the food will be pure!

So you think the CIA will set up shop in some standard building.....HECK NO! WTC 7 was special having seen all the extra columns and hardened foundation details from my prior post (which is ALL public information easily found)

Ok, stuff was added.

But the independent and secure air and water supplies and reinforced windows and window-frames all simply add to the load borne by the load-bearing steel members of the original structure. Nothing suggests the underlying building structure was reinforced nor even modified to bear the weight of the command center(s). Its likely any additional payload weight actually enhanced any structural collapse. Nothing in those modifications suggest anything that would preclude the normal symmetrical failure mode of a steel-framed building of this type.

In the technical sense it just sort of ends right there for engineers. Show me that the building was reinforced structurally in a way that would preclude its collapse. Show me.

Actually the CIA was on multiple floors.....too bad you can't go to see that first hand!

No that is not the main hardened points..............

Structural System

Building 7 was a 100% steel frame building. Like most modern skyscrapers, it had a series of columns ringing its perimeter, and a bundle of columns in its core structure. Its perimeter columns numbered 58 and its core columns numbered 25

For the core, the loads were transferred through a heavily braced foundation slab. 50 new foundation "caissons" were built, most of which had to be squeezed through the substation building.

This building had construction outside of zoning restrictions with added perimeter and core columes (more than typical for its size....you do know about bldg construction right?). It also had as a result heavily braced foundation engineering......this was not just some basic office building built to minimal code. Why the heck do you think it was used by so many sensitive agencies???

But only you, your devoted readers on ET and those inside the CIA with a "need to know" are aware of that, right?

Maybe you should call FEMA and tell them so they can amend chapter 5 of their World Trade Center Building Performance Study:
