Quote from ..........:
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
Welfare
welfare n. 1. health, happiness, or prosperity; well-being. [
Welfare in today's context also means organized efforts on the part of public or private organizations to benefit the poor, or simply public assistance. This is not the meaning of the word as used in the Constitution.
Btw,the second quote sounds like an opinion
Your delusions are on display. the govt does not owe you health , happiness or prosperity only that it should refrain from impeding you nor compelling others in your pursuit of such conditions.
