Have all the anti-gun-rights twits finished starting new threads?

Quote from wjk:

How do you feel about registering you gun(s) in a national data base, and what is the reason behind your answer?

In order to legally obtain a gun in NYC, it must be registered. The serial number and caliber is also printed on the back of my license.

I am a law abiding citizen and have no issues with government knowing that kind of weapons I own.

Just what you professed.

I don't think this crap is going anywhere despite your Great Leader saying it will happen this month. Maybe the 30 round mag will be banned but there are plenty to purchase that are already out there and grandfathered until this law is also overturned or removed through legislation in a few years.

You might as well get used to the fact that significant changes are NOT coming. You are just whistling in the wind along with your other anti-gun buddies.

I offered you a bet on this subject a while back, you refused. You keep repeating the same thing over and over as if you trying to convince yourself about something.

Let's wait and see.

Quote from Lucrum:

I travel all over the continental US and have never needed a gun yet. But then I haven't needed my life insurance policy yet either. But I keep paying the premiums just the same. (carrying for when I might need it)

Life insurance policy is a very smart thing to do. Carrying a gun every time one walks outside is not. I would hate to live in wild west where a gun is required to feel safe.

And you keep saying the same ol' thing, too. If you continue to do that it requires a response. We can wait and see if you are willing.

It seems you have no choice in NY. I don't really have issues with states requiring registration; however I do not trust the fed gov enough to agree with a national data base. History has repeatedly shown how that can end. I believe a national data base will result in immediate confiscation with future mass murder(s). I don't believe a buy back would be offered in that scenario.

I am also a tax paying, law abiding citizen, but I have serious reservations about the gov knowing which weapons I may choose to own since many politicians have made it clear how they feel regarding certain weapons (in some cases, most weapons).

Most people like to live their lives fear free. Once someone feels that a gun is needed every time he walks outside, the fear is already there.

Fear of robbery, government, neighbor and so on.

Phoenix, for example, stated earlier that cops are criminals, I guess he fears cops.

While carrying a gun during wild west time made perfect sense, we live in a different world now.
