Won't curb the mass killer types, but it would put a dent in the thug life types. We need much, much tougher penalties for crimes committed with a gun. Own an unregistered gun gets you some time. Pull a gun while committing a crime, mandatory 20 years. Fire the gun while committing a crime, life. Kill someone with a gun, the gas chamber. Limited appeal times for all killers.

Thank you for acknowledging you're full of it, since you ran away again and convenienitly ignored what you couldn't answer without admitting your gun control proposal would not help prevent school shootings.

But if you ever grow a pair and feel like having a discussion where you actually address the points I make without running away like you did, I'll leave the link again below... If you ever come up with a solution for all the school massacres that happened even in all these countries where guns are banned, let us all know. In many of them, other types of weapons were used, which indicates that banning this or that weapon won't hold the perpetrators, as already has been said many times here: YOU CAN'T OUTLAW EVIL.
Canada, Germany, France, Finland are all on that list... And let's not forget the "murderer's hunting grounds" in the U.S. A.K.A. "Gun Free Zones". Which are a big factor in why these lunatics choose school to do their killing sprees(the know nobody than can shoot back). The same can't be said for many charter schools, where many teachers have been carrying guns while at work for years.
Until then, you'll just keep speaking like parrots and just keep running away every time you people are faced with reality and logic.

That's exactly my point in this whole debate. I'm not even hard core anti-gun but am not willing to blindly go against the fact that regulation/tough laws works either.

If Johnny Jr shoots up a school, and Johnny Sr. is held responsible for negligence of not securing his weapons and slapped w/30 yrs, you think we'd have so many kids getting at daddy's guns?

Listen, I even concede that the 2nd amendment in spirit isn't entirely wrong...and shit can turn on a dime (look at Putin, Erdogan, Philipines-dude, Maduro....hell the vibe is strong w/Trump). You could even make the argument that everyone strapped may keep things civil. But you can't just say that regulation/bans don't work either....it's a simple numbers game, I'm not going to go against Math.
