e.l.f. Beauty price target raised to $55 from $46 at Piper Sandler 06:05 ELF Piper Sandler analyst Korinne Wolfmeyer raised the firm's price target on e.l.f. Beauty to $55 from $46 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The company reported another strong quarter that beat across all metrics, and raised its fiscal 2023 guidance of $30M on the top line and $10M on adjusted EBITDA, Wolfmeyer tells investors in a research note. The guidance raise is without a pricing increase, proving e.l.f. "s the exception to the norm in terms of declining unit volume demand that we're seeing across the beauty industry more broadly," says the analyst.

Activist investor Carl Icahn has accumulated a $700M stake in Crown Holdings, making him the second largest shareholder with a stake of about 8%, The Wall Street Journal's Cara Lombardo and Lauren Thomas report, citing people familiar with the matter. The report further states that Icahn believes that the company should shed some non-core units and buy back more stock..
