CNBC is scrolling "Chewy misses sales as consumers cut back on pet spending"... :rolleyes:

I love it when they do that... pick one thing in a report and scroll a bulletized snippet all morning to reaffirm whatever that week's "lead the sheep this way" market timbre was determined to be. Gotta love sensationalism in the financial media game.

None of these stocks are worth what people pay imo, but there are a lot fatter ones than Chewy as these things go. I read the report pretty thoroughly, its a solid company.

If CNBC was in their bull-market mode, the scroll would read:
"Chewy beats EPS estimates by 140%!".
Which they did btw. And it would be up $10 pre-market.

In other CNBC news... Cramer has pronounced crypto dead.
Called them "a Seinfeld asset".
"They're about nothing." :D
 
So SNAP is laying off 1200 people.
Say the average cost/person is $100K.... and that's waay low when you consider all the other hidden costs like insurance, 401K matching, free salad bars...

That savings drops right to the bottom line. With 1.6B shares outstanding, that's about an $0.08/share increase... or a 25% increase on forecast annual eps. :D

Buy buy buy!!!!!
 
Damn Stoney... I underestimated the cost of the free salad bar and granola snacks out there... the company says $500M in savings... I was off by a factor of 4!

Now their forecast eps give or take a little>>>> JUST DOUBLED. :wtf:

I want to give credit to this dude I saw on TV yesterday a portfolio manager but I forget his name. He was highly negative and had only super conservative ideas but when asked for a name he gave out Chargepoint. >

Which was odd from a value guy. I should of acted then.
