Remember what I said about Vietnam?

Apple Reportedly Moving Some iPad Production From China to Vietnam

Currently, the overwhelming majority of the ‌iPad‌'s supply chain is concentrated in China. Apple has been reported to be interested in moving at least some ‌iPad‌ production to Vietnam since January 2021, but supply chain issues over the past year are said to have delayed the move. Now, the supply chain disruption caused by lockdown measures in China is reported to have hastened Apple's desire to move some production out of the country.

China's BYD, :wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf: one of the leading ‌iPad‌ assemblers, has purportedly assisted Apple in setting up new ‌iPad‌ production lines in Vietnam. The ‌iPad‌ will become Apple's second major product line to be manufactured in Vietnam, following AirPods.

WE Have to ask ourselves is 0-100 legal? And do we really want to do that in 3.9 seconds.

I've had a Datsun 240Z back in the day.Nothing beat me off the line. And that engine probably took 6 seconds to get to 80. For me 3 sec's is stupid. People will just drive into a lake.

From what a hear the Ford Lightning is really a good ride! <-- I think Ford hit it out of the park and the F-150 is the single biggest pickup truck out there in sales...

May 15

  • Vietnam dropped all COVID-19 testing requirements for international arrivals from May 15 after a drop in cases and in moving in line with the country’s strategy of opening up.

MARKET UPDATE-

We have two giant forces now pulling in opposite directions.

1> margins are crumbling. Earnings are declining.

There can be no doubt margin pressure will lead to reduced earnings

2> Inflation is falling from 8% to 5% and the market will love that!
