I must say I am impressed with your patience here southall, you are a way better person than I am. Keep up the good work.
Only if we took no measures, over 1 million would die in the US from CV.
Sadly not, I wish i could come to some other conclusion and give lower numbers, this is why the US economy is being shutdown. The numbers would be this bad.
He doesn't get it's 4.8% of tested people die, only the really sick get tested, therefore 99%+ don't, which brings the numbers down massively.
UK looking like 1/2 Flu, US looking like Flu X's 2 or 3 but only cause health care system sucks.
It's mostly the old and sick which haven't got long to live anyway, kinda doing a lot of them a favour I'd say.
Also the death's are, Deaths where people tested positive, it's in the description, about 1/2 in the UK are dying of heart attacks / cancer but they have C19 therefore counted, so it's actually Flu / 4 in the UK.
Spains peaked coming down nicely, deaths will drop a lot soon as health care can catch up.
Italy, no numbers yet.
UK deaths dropping as very few critical, yesterday was a bunch of unrelated deaths added after as they had C19 at time of death, although not a factor. Expect UK to get worse briefly before peaking mind.
USA doubt it'll hit 50K deaths, over cook it the get praise for keeping well under
You believe 1 million??????????????
I am projecting 30k in NY alone, so probably 90k for the USA.
Nah 5-6K, it'll run sideways for a week then start heading down, less deaths on the way down as health service can cope better.
No idea, on population per state, so hard to come up with over all projection.
Hospitals getting more Ventilators and they've started to say screw it and use treatments that appear to be working from the sound of it, so expecting reduced deaths soon.
1/2 Flu expected!!
Death rate at 0.3% for exposed (incuding untested), and 300mn people in USA. I don't see how we get to 1 million really, now that everyone is in lockdown.
Just no way...we are at 2k and getting 1k deaths a day right now, it won't stop at 5k.
