Florida’s Teacher of the Year Bluntly Writes WHY School Violence Is Out of Control

I don't know how you'd find this data, but I suspect you're right. However, this supposedly small portion of the population is the loudest, and all the other side hears is "ban guns" which gets them instantly on guard and unwilling to listen to solutions.

Oh, brother, not this bullshit again.

I would agree with this. Otherwise, without limitation, things like machine guns/SAWs and other highly lethal military grade weaponry would be available.

Banning semi-automatic firearms? Do you know what you are saying? So what firearms are then left? See, this is the problem. When folks like you who have no knowledge whatsoever say things like that, you'll never get folks like myself at the table.

This last statement of yours makes my point:

I know exactly what I am saying. I'm saying what is going to happen if the gun lobby does not step up, suggest and get behind reasonable controls! And if semi-automatics were banned i know exactly what will be left. It will be the pistols and riffles suitable for sport and target shooting, and sufficient for self-defense. You have made yourself part of the problem by giving us such an absurd response, as if there would be no guns at all were semi-automatics banned.

You should not assume the many Americans that are in favor of effective gun controls know nothing about guns and don't own and use them. If you have to have a semi-automatic to hunt, you are an incompetent, unskilled hunter!

You clearly have no idea what constitutes a "semi automatic" if you are making the comment regarding self defense being possible with "what is left". You believe you can defend your home with a bolt action rifle against a bad guy with a .45.

As for your comment regarding a ban, it will never happen. Ever. You can quote me on that. It's simply not feasible with the amounts of weapons on the street.

Government banning of semiautomatic firearms, for example, would not violate either our inalienable right, or the Second Amendment. .

What?

Do you even know the difference between an automatic and a semi-automatic. I mean if google did not exist?

Then why do you continue to try to discuss this stuff with me? Why did you take me off ignore? I certainly don't benefit from your divine intellect.

You are an attention seeker, a Cliffy Clavin. I could and have said awful things to you, repeatedly, and you just come back. You will again.

But more to the point, you jump into massacre talks like some expert. As boring as it is, you need to be tackled as your kind of cowardice cannot be left just run.

You are a nipple stroking diseased body spreading sickness using the cloak of 'reasonableness' not to find answers, but to sway even weaker minds to agree with and love you.

Wayne's little bitch. So I'll keep going thanks.

I am drawing a circle around Wayne in particular as part of the solution. I know from lifelong experience how one person can whip up an unreality around him.
Sorry Mr. Slartibartfast, but it's not Wayne LaPierre; he's a terrible spokesperson and has the looks and charisma of the phantom of the opera.

The NRA is powerful because it's popular. It doesn't have to buy influence but you'd never know that from the incessant propaganda about the NRA "buying politicians."

"Since 1998, the National Rifle Association has donated at least $4.1 million to current members of Congress." (as of Feb 15, 2018) https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/national/nra-donations/?utm_term=.d9a9e671b66f

Of course I do. Your making a fool of yourself. And I didn't mention automatics. And as an upland game and water fowl hunter, I certain know that you don't need a semi-automatic to bring down quail, pheasant or ducks.

Are you like 18-22? Comrade Poindexter?

The NRA hired Wayne as a lobbyist and under his leadership it became a very different animal, to the point of altering US society itself.

Wayne is actually a genius in many ways. He does the work & like any church/cult leader, every weekend pressing the flesh. The megachurch pastors learned a lot from him and I'm sure he learns from them.

There will be some others behind him however he is the original head on the snake.

In the 2016 election, the NRA spent $11,438,118 to support Donald Trump—and another $19,756,346 to oppose Hillary Clinton. That’s over $31 million spent on one presidential race.

Presidential candidates aren’t the only ones who benefit from the NRA’s largess, though. Here’s a look at the top career recipients of NRA funding, as calculated by the Center for Responsive Politics and the New York Times.

John McCain (R, AZ) – $7.74 million

Cory Gardner (R, CO) – $3.88 million

Top 5 Representatives With the Most Contributions From the NRA
