Doubt if I'm really that "enlightening"....just trying to give you an idea of the way scalping is done by alot of pros...what they look to do etc.

And I am just trying to thank you no sarcasm involved. I am glad you took the time to enlight me and unlike some other individuals here I understood a couple of things. Thank you and I sincerely mean that.

I hate to be the one to break it to you but based on your responses you simply dont have the level of maturity, knowledge or discipline that it takes to be a trader. Thats not a bad thing because few people do, but you need to know this about yourself now before you lose all your money... and thats the best advice you'll get in this thread

Quote from John47:
no prob. One other thing you might want to look into if you give this a shot...try trading at night first. I haven't heard many guys on this board talk about it, but Globex is open and there's usually one of two good moves in the S&P's overnight, when europe is open. The advantage when your young is huge, everything is happening slower and its alot easier to pick up on order flow and see what paper is real in the market. The ES during the day is right up there among the most competitive markets in the world, getting a few ticks overnight is a great way to learn. Its totally dead sometimes but I can tell you if you're ever planning on making your living this way, its huge mentally and acct. wise if your going into the open with a winner or two already under your belt.
That is just so childish and naive, you come across as an infantQuote from saxon22:
Well, I decided to look into it only a couple of moths ago. However, I am certain you were THE master trader right from the start.
As for the level of maturity, if you can deduct that from a couple of posts than you should consider a change of professions. Perhaps a fortune teller or something along: let me judge somebody after reading a couple of his posts.
As for the knowledge - you are right I am not where I want to be. I doubt most traders are after only a couple of months. I am reading all I can about trading and maybe one day it will work out. I am glad you were able to figure out that I am new to this thing. What gave it away 40 post under my tick?
As for discipline, what do you base my lack of it on????? Have you seen me study, trade or fail at anything????? I have visited your country, I live in one of the most expensive cities on earth have a house in a pleasant neighborhood and a fat account to boot. I have visited your country and about 40 others. Do you think I achieved that because I am a fat drop out kid who is too lazy to get his MA and is looking for a short cut and easy money in life. Well think again man!
You know what would really be ironic if in the future I would make it as a trader using YOUR system.![]()
