I want to see if I can get 20 points off this, but might just not be the day. STUCK.
When I posted it was for Today, but the probability is getting lower now. It's a trading range day, so I expect both sides to be disappointed.
Trading range of the last month+ is a big magnet and I think the selloff from 9:40-10:10ish is going to limit the upside. We're also near the top of the range from Friday that formed after consecutive buy climaxes (Wed-Fri morning). There are a handful of areas of interest down there plus a rough measured move from today's range.
Wasn't that due to the fake news of Pentagon blowing up? Or was it FED speak?
I factored that in as noise and an over-reaction, but it definitely stopped this morning's rally in the tracks.
Fact is I think this morning's dip was a good thing as it efficiently took care of the "mandatory" back-filling allowing us to continue higher from here. Just my guess of course.

I think it's interesting to see what may have moved the market (which is why I glance at news releases from time to time), but in realtime I try to just trade based on what price is doing/has done.

Covered that long at 4211 for + 7 on entire position.
Too slow on the trigger and it turned into a hope trade on the way down. Will re-enter long if we breakout higher as I still think a new HOD is possible by the Close.
Generally speaking, as we didn't make a new HOD, odds favor a close below 4205.
Remains to be seen if this is a pullback low and we have enough strength to make a new HOD. I'm not holding my breath at this point.
