Yep, and as I said to UsualT, he should enjoy the so-called Republican Speaker election clown show while it lasts, because the minute it resolves, then panic will set in around Joe Biden. And that is happening right on schedule. The Dems have been whistling past the graveyard about Biden and listening to the piano music on Titanic by obsessing over Republican infighting.
Buy they want Joe now. Or should that be Genocide Joe who according to the polls cannot beat an any of the top three republicans.
As discussed, a worldclass clusterfuck in progress. The usual suspects will deal with it by digging up some info about how Mike Johnson failed to return two library books to Crawdad Public Library 40 years ago. Not sure that will help Biden though. But that's all they got.

Obama trying to get Newsom on the ballot so that he/Obama can eventually lobby to become UN Secretary General and maybe get Michelle as Newsom's VP.
The only person who could “talk” Biden out of his reelection campaign is Michelle Obama. And, the only reason why that is, is because she is the only democrat who is actually a stronger candidate than Biden.

As discussed long ago, Newsom has more in common with Kamala than he and dems may want to think, even though they are very different.
Right now, dems are just starting to get real about where the Biden Titanic Cruise is headed. They are starting to deal with it by putting Bag Balm on their brains in the form of saying "OK, let's do this Newsom thing, he seems young and zippy and woke" so there is our fallback position.
WRONGO. That is not the cure. That is just where the real terror begins to set in. ie. when the dems discover that Plan B is a full blown disaster too. As with Kamala, who at one time could be identified as the logical alternative to Biden, checked all the boxes, and hundreds of millions of people could identify her and name her as the likely up and comer in the party. Except once you lifted up the hood and looked at the engine, there was only a handful of people east of Sacramento who actually knew or supported her. In fact, even Californians did not support her much in the Cali primary. They only knew that she was supposed to be Plan B. And that is where we are with Newsom. Wait til next month when the dems think "Holy Shit, Plan B can't beat Trump either and wanting to beat Trump doesn't mean that the rest of the country wants to go full Californian either or that the minorities have any interest in a whitey-tighty, privileged background, hair gelled metrosexual."
Buckle up dems. This disaster has not even begun and you are going to need more than bag balm to fix it.
And yes, his disapproval number is not actually that bad, but the direction of the trend is not good. It is never good to be losing steam at home while out on the trail trying to convince people that you will Californicate the rest of the country.
The lefties rescued Kamala from that dilemma by outright choosing her as VP - her low support be damned. Not a trick you can do with the Presidency.
