This kind of debate is pointless. You can always find plenty of folks to criticize what US has done and what it has failed to do or should have done instead. Its so easy to do. The things that motivates the US are the same things that motivate the leaders of every other country on the planet - that's right we're all human. Why anyone would think that if any other country were the world's superpower that the results would be any better is beyond me (far from it I would guess).

Stop setting your expectations so high and you'll find that your disappointed less.

As for violence solving problems...well it worked pretty well in WWII, Worked ok in Korea, Desert storm I got the job done. Some times you have to fight fire with fire.

As for the innocent casualties of war they are without a doubt a terrible affect, however, they are untintentional you will never find americans soldeirs targeting innocent civilians.


This doesn't change anything to the fact they killed innocent people. If you have a child and he gets killed unintentionally by someone with a car, how would you react ? Would you just think 'well, it's a side effect. People need to use cars and accidents are a logical consequence'. I don't think so.

On the other hand, it is the stated policy of our enemy to attack and kill all infidels woman and children included.

I'm quite surprised to discover that a country that makes such a mess about abortion isn't more preoccupied of children beeing killed for nothing.

How ridiculous. Children get killed in car accidents everyday and everyone but the children's parents do think exactly what you seem to be suggesting is incorrect "People need to use cars and accidents are a logical consequence".

The fact that the childrens parents emotions overwhelm their rational thought process doesnt change the fact it is true. That you would use an emotional response to dictate a countries whole policy is stupid.

BTW, I take it you have given up driving cars based on your own example of the dangers of cars to children?
