He is making a strong case for one six year term for presidents. Few of them shine in the last two years and he is coming apart before our eyes.
This is a perfect example of leftist ideology overriding whatever intellect they may have. This is what makes them so dangerous when they are in positions of power, and we're overrun with them in such positions.
yes, I think that is a very good idea. The first day they get elected they spend 4 years trying to get re elected, and if they succeed, the next four years paying back bribes.

I'd suggest "single term" limits for ALL Federal politicos. That way, they wouldn't "bend policy and behavior" to favor reelection at the expense of the country they were elected to serve.

there is no doubt in my mind if they had humanitarian concerns they would be letting in Christians from the middle east. pulling in mostly muslims, poorly screened, may or must be part of a take down agenda. we know he supplied guns to criminals in fast and furious...

Obama has been making stupid statements like this before he was President, he made stupid statements like this as President, and will make lots of stupid statements after being President. It is who he is.

If you are including judgeships as well, I agree completely. I support term limits for supreme court judges, as well as politicians.
like most democrats, Obama's brain went dead his first day of college when they all think they have finally "made it." Liberalism is just some kind of Peter Pan complex where what they really love were the days of their youth when they were still in college. They are not progressive. They want to take us all back to their good old college days when people had no idea what money was or where it came from.
and it aint that different from the right wingers who can't understand why the world isn't like it was when they were growing up, some of us even remember Leave It To Beaver, like Archie and Edith said, "Those were the days."
