you left out "your" as in "...your LBGTQ... children..." I was just pointing out that the value of Disney including LBGQT... and minority characters is not so much for your benefit as it is for the benefit of your children that watch Disney produced media. It will help them avoid growing up thinking like their daddy.
Children are not born with irrational prejudices. They learn them from adults. It's the adults, not the kids, that will be bothered by seeing families depicted with two mommies or two daddies. Disney wants to depict people in healthy relationships as they actually are. It's some adults that this content may not be suitable for, the kids will be fine with it.
So Disney gets to determine what is appropriate for my children?
You also didn't answer the question about whether you support showing young children homosexual content. Do you?
So then why not expose them to everything - no holds barred? Why can't they see porn movies? How about graphic murders and violence? All good, right, Piezoe? Children shouldn't be restricted from any content according to you.

The truth here is that what is appropriate or good or acceptable is subjective. Your values on subjects differ from mine and differ from Ricter or other people who would support this decision. And because these values are subjective, it is the parent of the child who should make the determinations on what is acceptable. Just because you don't like what someone thinks doesn't make it wrong - no one made you the world's sole leader on such topics (thank goodness).
Of course showing porn to young children is inappropriate. But I'll bet you I can find someone who thinks it isn't! Why are they wrong, and you and I right on that topic?

DIS decided to have a same sex cartoon kiss in their movie.
Parents can decide that they don't want to take their child to see that.
