DeSantis for the win

No you need to take the new high in context. I was fully aware of the difference in rates per million...

I was just letting you know your model country was suffering from a Covid breakout.

Yes... and I provided a link in my earlier post to my earlier summary about exactly how Germany handling their "breakout". Keep in mind that what Germany views as a COVID "breakout" would be considered the best COVID day in the past months in most U.S. states.

so you reach new highs for losses in your trading... as you get stopped out of trades all the time. (your account hits new lows.)
and you believe that you stop losses are working well.

If you have proper Contact Tracing then you need less testing. Your testing is targeted by the tracing.

that is what I told you months ago.
The lead guy in germany told us ideally you don't test everyone... you test to avoid clusters.

everything you write is so illogical... when you look at it in the aggregate.

You are attempting to re-write the history of all the nonsense you have claimed. Quite amusing.

You can only do targeted testing if you put a contract tracing infrastructure in place. In Germany they used their lockdown period to get contact tracing in place on a national basis (which is one of the 5 reasons you lock down). After Germany re-opened this allowed them to do targeted testing.

In the U.S. where contact tracing is effectively non-existent - the only way to test is to do it wholesale across a large number of people. Usually these people only come forward for testing when they have symptoms or have been in contact with someone with symptoms. The very nature of this testing reduces its effectiveness in stopping clusters from spreading -- and also required a much higher level of unforgettable testing to have any understanding of the effective level of infection in a community.

You argument defies logic and reality.
Germany is hitting new highs in infections.

There is no way any sane person would be arguing their "targeted testing" is doing great.

You might say they would be doing worse.

But there is no evidence their program has stopped the spread.
Facts show otherwise.

Right.... so if Germany is your example of how to deal with Covid...
Because their testing and tracing is so good...

Germany has almost 200 percent more cases per day per million
and 300 percent more deaths per day than Sweden... per million

Sweden has only 446 cases per day and only 1 death per day...

Germany has over 5800 and 24 deaths per day...

on the 7 day averages...

So any way you slice you have been the biggest wrong on Covid moron in the world.

Everyone’s bitching about how bad the response was here in the USA but when you look around the world, at all the so called correct, locked down, mask wearing, social distancing countries.... they’re all having spikes, more cases now than during the bad part of the early outbreak.

So what good does it do?

Isolate the most vulnerable and let this thing burn itself out.
