2024? DeSantis may need to worry about 2022.

A recent The Political Matrix/Listener Group poll shows Crist leading DeSantis by 6%. It should be noted that The Political Matrix/Listener Group generally leans right in its bias.

This poll may simply be an outlier since other polls show DeSantis leading, but it is the most recent poll since the DeSantis immigrant flights controversy.

It is interesting that the spokesperson for the Listener Group has been making rounds on conservative networks in recent days to defend the poll.

A new poll from The Political Matrix/Listener Group shows Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis trailing his Democratic challenger Rep. Charlie Crist in the gubernatorial race.

Greg Fink, a conservative strategic consultant for the Listener Group, says the governor’s COVID-19 response and his decision to send migrants to Martha’s Vineyard could be at play.

Speaking Monday on NewsNation’s “Dan Abrams Live,” Fink said his group uses “real data” to differentiate itself from pollsters who are trying to “push an agenda.” Watch his full interview above.

Strangely enough, the Federal response to hurricane Ian and Biden's support for Florida is going to help get Governor DeSantis get re-elected. DeSantis will be happy to kiss up to Dark Brandon and even take some compliments if it ensures his re-election in a few weeks.
