Actually, the comments had nothing to do with groupies or gurus. They had to do with the fact that you said nothing about why you made the trade. JR has provided detailed information about his strategy; therefore, there's something to be learned from it. There's nothing to be learned from "I shorted the S&P today".
JR is right on Switzerland, except for flags.
I lived in a small Swiss village many years ago - I am not swiss. I vividly recall seeing my elder swiss neighbor across the street stepping out every morning, never failing to salute the swiss flag in front of his house. This is unseen in the European shit 'democracies'. Having lived a long time in the US, I admire the way they treat their flag as a symbol, but I have never encountered a gesture so convincing as that of my old swiss neighbor.

Naturally of course I agree 200% with your last observation! But I'd have to say that you didn't really get too much abuse - mild skepticism at most!! Wait til you've been told that you've been "seriously arsed", that you are "filth", that Allah says you're "evil"! A journal is obviously more interesting that the shit written about Gecko or philosophy, but if you really want to fuck them up ...post the details of your method (I'd agree with dbphoenix on that point). This way you can claim the high moral ground in fucking with them. There's nothing more powerful when answering a critic than saying "my method is here, where's yours you bastard?".
Some would say that's the only reason I posted my method - not because I'm altruitsic but because I just want a "license" to play with some arseholes inbetween trading

Why on earth would I want to shut down THIS thread? Johnny Rotten is the best thing that's ever happened to me. And its funny and timely that JR came along when he did. I laugh in bed at his wit. And that's never happened to me before with ET.

But regardless of how it all turns out, even to the extent of you and Johnny being the same person, this has been one of the more interesting threads in quite some time, and I've picked up a couple of things from it. My thanks to whomever.
Jim, you gotta understand what's going on. Magna isn't censoring you because you went off topic and had a rant and rave, Hell, if that were true, I'd have been shut down ages ago! In any case, my guess is that 50% of posts on this site are 'off-topic'. He's censoring you because he can. What I mean is, you first have to build credibility with an audience outside of the moderators. Any censorship then becomes harder if they know 15 people will be up their ass for doing it. Magna would probably love to censor me but part of him respects what I've done with posting my method, and he knows that he'd have several people up his ass. So he decides to tolerate me instead. Even when I abuse the fuck out of him. But he censors you simply because he doesn't think there will be any negative repercussions of doing so. If you want Magna to leave you alone then you've got to post the details of your method and get stuck into some dialogue about it. It's my point about getting your license first. I guarantee that if my Post number 3 on this thread were put up as Post number 1, it would have been axed. Which is why I put up Post 1 and 2 first.
They know I'm fucking with them - and even though they don't like it, and feel the need to moralise about it - they've not censored me (yet) because they know that people are making money out of my presence. They also know that if they tried to train my arse to be a nice boy and shut down my ability to 'play' ...that I definitely would fuck off. They want me here but they don't like me! What I'm getting at is this: to fuck with the Establishment on this web site, you've gotta be cleverer than they are. Which ain't that hard given their stupidity!
