Current Price for a Bloomberg Terminal?

So you pay 2300$ USD/month for Bloomberg for trading (I guess!) and you still have a day-ish job (not trading related I guess again!) ???

Not everyone wants out of their day job. There are people who are successful traders AND enjoy the challenge, satisfaction, sense of accomplishment etc. of a stimulating day job or building a business, etc.

I don't know newwurldman, so I can't speak on his behalf.

The terminal is great — especially if you trade professionally or have a Wall Street background. Not sure how useful it is for individual traders seeking to day trade.

$27,600 a year each for the first two. Then quantity discounts come into play. The best deal is for genuine academics and libraries. Deals are generally two years.
In some products - like converts - you can't live without them. The overall derivative analysis tools are outstanding. Scale is clearly an issue. You run with big dogs or the view never changes.

Not true, it was only allowed at the height of covid. They might not enforce it hardcore right now but remote desktop is one of the things that usually gets your compliance department 1 or 2 warnings and then your terminal is getting shut down by bbg. I am absolutely sure that they will be stricter again about this once covid subsides. And your last comment perhaps applies to Refinitiv sales reps, definitely not to Bloomberg.

No, I'm referring to Bloomberg reps. And this was allowed Pre-covid.

Try cold calling a sales rep and you'll see what i mean.
