Legally only works in the same legal entity/group. BBG does not even allow sharing across different product teams at banks as far as I know.

It depends on your account size. If you you're getting information from Bloomberg that you calculate translates into a boost in annual return by 1% on an account of $10M+, it pays for itself. If your account is much smaller, you would need much more added value for Bloomberg to be worth it.
As it is, I never did subscribe last year, but might do so in the future. For the moment, I think my time is better spent working with all the data I already have. Everyone's situation is different, though.
Two individuals sharing a shared terminal? Yes then you are sitting in the same room and are more or less the same "entity". They have mechanisms to detect remote desktop or other tricks to get around this.
