I know you didn't post the image but it does raise an interesting topic about vaccines or what's now being called
"vaccine tourism".
First, I know some countries have different vaccines in comparison to other countries. In fact, some countries that have opened their borders to vaccinated people...will
not allow people vaccinated with a certain vaccine to enter their country.
Just as weird, some countries had what they're calling a over-supply of vaccines and they're giving it away to other countries in such a way (e.g. Canada could not get its citizens to take the Astra Zeneca after the problems the vaccine had in Europe...its now giving away those vaccines to other countries).
In college, I had roommates from different countries (e.g. India, Israel, New Zealand, Japan). One had died from Covid (India) but the other three have travelled to other countries under the
façade as a tourist when in reality they didn't trust the vaccine in their own country and instead wanted to get a different vaccine in another country.
That's 3 ex-roommates have done such (traveled abroad to get vaccinated...easy to do for them because they have citizenship in another country) and I wonder how popular such has occurred with others. Just the same, I clearly remember the
slow roll-out of vaccines here in Canada...
Those lucky enough to be in their 2nd home in the United States...got vaccinated in the United States but with a vaccine that they had confidence that Canada would accept as vaccinated when it re-open its borders (borders re-open today).
Then there's the growing issue or concerns of the
vaccine black market (link I posted earlier) in which there's a lot of vaccines now being purchase in the vaccines are dirty (water down, tainted, improperly stored)
or possibly deadly.
My point...this is only the
tip of the iceberg.
Also, there has been growing arrests of people selling faked vaccination cards.
